Au Revoir Les Enfants!

Oh yes, this morning was supposed to be a doctor's appointment but a SC Phil. children's concert took its place. Such is life! Two performances of Saint Saens "Carnival Of The Animals". I was definitely on my A-game, shredding the hell out of the L'Elephant solo and dominating the competition. Then I got to give a shout-out to Mrs. Lawson's second graders. Good bunch of kids who seem way too smart for second grade. Ole timey nerve tonic? We really need to get some Hoffenchard trading cards and pencil grips to hand out to the children, because they are the future. They're from the future. They invented the future... No mountain bike ride tonight as I will be subbing for another gig at Drayton Hall. Bertolt Brecht's "Mother Courage", with singing! Wrap your head around that.
