This weekend we're heading down to good ole Beaufort, SC for the Low Country Challenge. I will be partaking in the full omnium and Joshie has decided to test his legs in the crit. I must say that i am pretty stoked to have a fellow Hoff mixing it up with me this time..While strapping on a borrowed set of aero clip-ons last night to test my TT position (HA, my TT position) i found myself thinking... what the hell am i thinking?! Did i really just shell out my hard earned cash to do a time trial, a crit and a road race all within in two days? But then i figured why the hell not? Columbia is now Mad Max style desert wasteland so why not head south a do a little unfamiliar road racing...
Joshie and i will be accompanied by the awesome support crew of the Smaisleys (KB&Eric). And KB's loving mother Colleen has graciously let us crash at her casa for the weekend. So in addition to racing i believe the plan also includes a little beach play, a little kayaking perhaps and of course a little food and beer...
