Grind on the Greenway

This years 6hour Grind on the Greenway was was an epic battle of heavy hitters and superstars of the southeast mountain bike scene. The Hoffen camp was graced with the guest appearances by Jeremy of Terrapin Beer Race Team (while not actually racing for Hoffenchard, Jeremy is a welcomed honary memeber of the crew) and Chris from WTB. Chris was in town on WTB business and had no idea he would be peer pressured into racing by a partnerless Jim Snyder before heading back home to Cali. The duo raced pretty well ending up pulling off a 3rd place finish. Jeremy ended up destroying his class, winning by a 2 lap lead. Good job fellas...

What to expect when buying a bike from Eric?

As this is the second bike ive purchased from Mr. Smith (not to be confused with this guy, this guy or even this guy) ive come to expect spending the majority of my scheduled build time actually pre cleaning my frame before installing a single part. You can ask any other Hoff who has bought a frame off eric if it was in the same condition and the answer is YES. Eric is although without a doubt the coolest guy that all my coworkers have ever known, Joshie included (HA).

but i must say im pretty stoked about this bike. thanks buddy enjoy my $$$$.

Oh the visual ammusment...

Riding in this morning i took the time to appreciate the beautiful culture that the south has to offer. Mainly the awesome bumper stickers...! so i took a couple quick minutes this morning to recreate some of my favorites. keep in mind that these in NO WAY reflect me or any of the Hoffenchards!!!

Kyle will soon be writing about his successful weekend of crit racing. 2nd place this early in the year would normally be welcomed by a ticker tape parade down Huger st. but let us not forget, or ever let kyle live it down that he in fact got beat, and more importantly outsmarted, by a 14 year old junior. maybe next time.
